Hand-poured; not printed. No plastic 3D printing, no automated production. Every relief map is hand-cast from a 3D model and a mold made in my workshop - under the rooftops of Paris - and fitted with a numbered cork backing. The light-colored concrete casting faithfully renders the Matterhorn's profile with sub-millimeter precision - with that cold, dense, mineral feel that echoes natural rock.
A timeless design: This relief fits naturally in a contemporary interior as much as in an alpine chalet. It settles effortlessly on a desk, a shelf, or a coffee table. And because each piece is hand-poured, slight variations in tone and texture may appear - that's what makes your summit unique.
The perfect gift for mountain lovers: Give a summit to someone who dreams of altitude. Mountaineers, hikers, lovers of raw and beautiful objects - this sculpture is made for them.
Order & Shipping: Sculptures are available in stock, ready to ship. Wooden bases are made to order - production time: 3 to 4 business days. Each piece is packaged in a cardboard box padded with wood wool, then shipped via tracked Colissimo.
The Matterhorn, between Switzerland and Italy: Also known as the Matterhorn (in German and English) or Cervino (in Italian), this 4,478-meter summit is one of the most famous in the Alps. Its pyramidal profile has long been associated with Toblerone, Ricola, and many other brands. On the Swiss side, it towers over Zermatt; on the Italian side, over Breuil-Cervinia. "The triangular obelisk of bare rock that seems chiselled by hand." - Horace Bénédict de Saussure, 1792. It is this form - raw, immediate, unmistakable - that this sculpture seeks to capture.
