Hand-poured; not printed. No plastic 3D printing, no automated production. Every relief map is hand-cast from a 3D model and a mold made in my workshop - under the rooftops of Paris - and fitted with a numbered cork backing. The light-colored concrete casting faithfully renders the island's outline and interior relief with precision - along with that cold, dense, mineral feel that echoes volcanic rock.

A timeless design: This map fits naturally in a contemporary interior as much as in a Creole home. It settles effortlessly on a desk, a shelf, or a coffee table. And because each piece is hand-poured, slight variations in tone and texture may appear - that's what makes your island unique.

The perfect gift for Réunion lovers: Give the island to someone who holds it close to their heart. Réunionnais living abroad, GR R2 hikers, lovers of raw and beautiful objects - this sculpture is made for them.

Order & Shipping: Sculptures are available in stock, ready to ship. Wooden bases are made to order - production time: 3 to 4 business days. Each piece is packaged in a cardboard box padded with wood wool, then shipped via tracked Colissimo.

Réunion Island, between volcanoes and cirques: Also known as Île Bourbon - the name it carried for over 150 years before the French Revolution - Réunion peaks at 3,070 meters at the Piton des Neiges, the highest point in the Indian Ocean. A volcanic island of contrasting landscapes, it brings together tropical beaches, ancient forests, and vertiginous summits within just a few kilometers. Its three cirques - Mafate, Salazie, Cilaos - make it one of the most spectacular hiking destinations in the world. It is this relief - raw, intense, unmistakable - that this sculpture seeks to capture.
